Joint flange cleaned back to bare metal Metalworking+
Remove rust, paint, oxide layers and scale selectively and prepare metal surfaces for subsequent processing. The product catalogue lists aluminium, alloys, copper, iron, steel and stainless steel for the water-cooled CW systems, including rapid rust removal on large metal surfaces. Weld preparation is another typical application. The process is dry and uses no conventional blasting media or chemical cleaning agents.

Remove rust, paint and oxide layers from suitable body, frame and chassis components in a controlled process. The 4-in-1 BL Welding Machine combines welding, cutting, weld-seam cleaning and rust removal and is listed for steel, stainless steel, galvanised sheet and aluminium.

Mobile and wheeled laser cleaning machines can treat suitable machine components, fixtures and tools directly on site. The portable model is designed for localised cleaning, while CW systems are available for larger areas, production and maintenance. Remove rust and old paint from suitable bodywork, frames and detachable components. Parameters are matched to sheet thickness, coating and required finish. For valuable or historic components, send us a representative part so the application can be tested before wider processing.
Cleaned gear wheel Mould & tool making+
Remove residues from moulds, dies and tools, including optically accessible cavities and contours. With suitable parameters, the effect on the tool surface can be kept to a minimum. If you only need individual moulds cleaned, the work can be outsourced to us as a contract laser-cleaning service.

We match laser power, processing speed and other process parameters to the application and test the process directly on the component.

As a general guide, portable pulsed systems are designed for precise work on sensitive components, while wheeled pulsed and CW systems are suited to larger areas, production and continuous use. We compare the available power classes against your actual application.

Depending on the version, Beamlux laser systems can generate Class 4 laser radiation. Before commissioning, an application-specific risk assessment must be carried out, the laser-controlled area must be secured against unauthorised access, and extraction suited to the material being processed must be provided. Machine instruction is included with purchase and hire; additional training is available on request and at extra cost.
