Laser cleaning · service & support

Laser cleaning as a service.
More than just the machine.

We provide contract laser cleaning, advise you on selecting your own system, train your team and support you with maintenance, accessories and technical service.

Services

How we can
support you.

Whether you need a single component cleaned or are planning to bring laser cleaning in-house, we support both routes.

01

Contract laser cleaning

For individual or recurring jobs, we clean suitable components in our workshop. This allows you to use laser cleaning without investing in your own system straight away.

Before the first order, send us a sample component. We test the application, identify suitable parameters and assess the result so you can see what is achievable before committing. The process is dry and uses no conventional blasting media or chemical cleaning agents.

  • Rust removal, paint removal, weld preparation and mould cleaning
  • Process parameters matched to material, surface and required result
  • Sample testing: send in a component and assess the result in advance

Advice on laser cleaning machines

Would you like to integrate laser cleaning permanently into your operation? We analyse the application, material and required performance and help you choose the right laser cleaning machine.

Material, contamination, area and frequency of use determine the appropriate machine and power class. Precision work on sensitive components requires a different system from large-area continuous use — from the portable BL Portable Pulse with 200 or 300 W, through the wheeled BL Compact Pulse, to the 2,000 W BL CW 2000 continuous-wave system.

  • Needs analysis: which power class suits your surfaces
  • Application-specific recommendation based on your requirements.
  • Live demonstration on site or by video consultation
03

Training and machine instruction

High-power laser systems require expertise and clear safety procedures. We prepare you and your team for day-to-day operation.

A short machine instruction session of approximately one to three hours is included with every hire and purchase. Your team learns how to operate the machine, the relevant safety requirements and suitable parameter settings. Additional training is available by arrangement and at extra cost.

  • Commissioning and machine setup
  • Individual and group training for your staff
  • Dates and terms on request
04

Maintenance & support

Our support does not end with the purchase. We remain your point of contact to help keep your machine ready for use.

If a service issue occurs, we can provide a replacement machine by arrangement and subject to availability to help minimise potential downtime. Laser safety eyewear must be selected for the correct wavelength; our laser cleaning machines operate at 1064 nm.

  • Wear parts: protective windows, lenses and laser safety eyewear
  • Extraction technology for process-related dust, particles and emissions
  • Technical support in the event of faults, with the aim of minimising downtime

Depending on the version, our laser systems can generate Class 4 laser radiation. Before commissioning, an application-specific risk assessment and defined laser-controlled area are required. Under the German OStrV, the employer is in principle required to appoint a laser safety officer when operating such systems, provided the statutory conditions for this are met. Laser safety eyewear only provides protection if it is suitable for the wavelength and the expected power; welding goggles are not an adequate substitute. The appropriate filter and extraction technology depends on the processed material and the emissions generated. See the laser safety page for detailed information.

05 · Finance & leasing

A route to your own system
that preserves liquidity.

You do not have to fund the full purchase price at once. Leasing and hire-purchase models can spread the investment across predictable monthly instalments.

If you would like to test the technology first, hire is available by the day, week or project. Hire costs can be credited pro rata against a later purchase.
