What happens after you send your enquiry
The form has three steps: select a subject, describe the task, leave your contact details. The details about the application in the second step are optional — but they determine how specific our first reply can be.
If you have given an email address, we confirm receipt by email; you then need do nothing further. Enquiries from all language versions of this website reach the same address, and we send the confirmation of receipt in the language in which you submitted the enquiry.
Which details make an enquiry useful
Four points matter for a sound recommendation: the base material, the layer or contamination to be removed, the area to be processed and the frequency of use. The desired surface condition, the accessibility of the area concerned and the number of units are also helpful.
Typical materials are steel, stainless steel, aluminium and copper; beyond that there are applications on stone, concrete, clinker brick and wood. What is removed is usually rust, oxide layers, mill scale, paint, heat tint or process residues.
If a task is hard to describe, a photo or a sample part helps. A material test shows whether the contamination is removed completely, how the base material looks afterwards and which power class is needed.

Buy, hire or outsource
Which route fits depends above all on the frequency of use. For a single project, a commissioned service is usually the simplest option. We process suitable components in our workshop, without you having to invest in a system of your own — described under Laser cleaning service.
For several jobs of limited duration, hire is a good option, available by the day, week or project; hire costs paid can be credited pro rata against a later purchase (Hire a laser cleaning machine).
